Bandalong Litter Trap & Collection Booms Installed for NSW Ports

Our team recently installed a Bandalong Litter Trap and associated collection booms at Bunnerong Creek for NSW Ports.

Detailed design was required to allow for site specifics including 1.8 M tidal variation, litter trap and collection boom placement between and underneath several bridges, freight logistics, off site assembly, anchoring and installation methods.

The overall design had to also allow for a bridge clearance of only 500mm at high tide, thorough planning and preparation was required from start to finish.
